Welcome to Transition Matters
I am determined to ensure we all get the transition right. Not only for our young people but parents/carers and staff too. Having worked across Primary and Secondary, I have worn every education hat going! I was then very fortunate that in a previous role, it allowed me to focus solely on the transition across a whole local authority. Now I bring my wealth of experience to support schools on their school improvement journey.
I am pleased to announce that I am now offering bespoke consultancy services. From one-off lesson plans to support the pupils through the transition process, to longer-term intervention curricula. I also offer bespoke staff training.
Are you looking to prepare your children for secondary school or your secondary school for the children? I can offer support across all stages.
I like to offer thought-provoking posts that don’t necessarily offer any solutions but provide food for thought. I bring all of this experience and expertise to this page. I am always happy to hear what anyone else has to say. Please feel free to get in touch and let me know your thoughts. For now, I hope you enjoy, and that the posts get you thinking!
